Creek Wood Band has Successful Marching Season The Spirit of Creek Wood Marching Band has wrapped up a successful marching season. The Band, under the direction of Dan Salley, competed in three marching competitions, marched in the Charlotte Festival, the Creek Wood Homecoming Parade, the Veterans Day Parade, and will soon march in the White Bluff Christmas Parade. The Band has grown from 26 members in the first Creek Wood Band in 2002 to the current 62 members. This spring they will be traveling to Chicago to participate in the nationally televised St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Creek Wood Band will present a Christmas Concert on December 10 at 7:00 pm at Creek Wood High School; the concert will also feature the Charlotte Middle School Band and the William James Middle School Band. The concert is free and open to the public. The Spirit of Creek Wood Marching Band had the following results in the Band Competitions this fall: Montgomery Central Marching Festival , Sept 15, 2007: MTSBOA Marching Festival, Spring Hill, Sept. 22: Mid-West Tennessee Marching Band Competition, Sept. 29:
