ASVAB Information

WHAT IS IT?

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)*** is an aptitude assessment which can give you an idea about your readiness to learn a particular skill.

How can the ASVAB results be beneficial to you?

Receive an academic score which can help you assess college readiness

Receive occupational scores which can help you assess what career area you might want to pursue

Receive your results and relate your interests, aptitudes and values to careers in which you should be successful

Who should take the ASVAB?

If you are joining the military, you should definitely take the ASVAB.

If you are not going into the military, but are going to college, technical school or to the workplace, the info gained can still be very beneficial to you.

When will the ASVAB be given at CWHS?

Taken in November, listen for announcements for test time and location

Visit www.asvabprogram.com for more information.

***If you take this test, you will be contacted by the military. By taking the ASVAB, you are not committing to joining the military.***
