The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives... one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest interdenominational, school-based, Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.
FCA is a very active club. We hold regular club meetings during and after school. Mr. Randy King is the FCA Huddle leader for Creek Wood High School. At the end of every calendar school year, the Huddle leader elects new upcoming officers. 2002/2003
2003/2004
Because Creek Wood is a new school, we are constantly making changes and venturing on new ground. This year, along with having elected officers, we have made a Planning Committee. This is a group of students, who don't hold leadership positions, but help with the planning and organizing of meetings.
Every summer, FCA officers participate in a summer camp, aimed gain valuable leadership skills. The camp is held in Bristol, TN at King College. There are regular services, worship, sports activities, and plenty of time to meet and make new friends. This is a wonderful experience for anyone wanting to further their relationship with Jesus Christ. FCA Vision :To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches. FCA Mission: present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. FCA Values:Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence. |
