The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate quality health care by providing oppurtunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the health care community.

Class Rules (back to top)

1.      As you know, class begins when the bell rings. I expect you to be in your seat with materials needed for the class.

2. A negative remark about any person in the class is a type of verbal abuse and will not be allowed anytime.

3. Let's keep our talking and socializing to a minimum. You may have a few extra minutes at the end of class on some days to catch up with the news.

4. Stay AWAKE! Your bed at home is for sleeping not my classroom.

5. I know you love me and your significant other but please do not use my markers and board to tell me.

6. Treat my office and desk, as well, as any student in your class as personal property, which means "Do Not Touch."

7. Do not go into the teacher's office for any reason unless MS Brown or I give you permission

8. You may bring water to class or buy a bottle of water from HOSA to drink during class. Expect any other drink to be taken away from you.

9. All equipment supplies, desk and chairs/stools will be returned to its place before leaving for the day. Students will be assigned certain duties to complete at the end of each class.*

10. If equipment or desks and chairs are intentionally damaged, then you will be responsible for replacing.

11. Remain in your seat until I dismiss you. DO NOT LINE UP AT THE DOOR unless I give you the ok.

12. Place coats, backpacks, and handbags on counter or floor underneath your chair.

13. The only thing on your desk area should be your book, notebook, and pen/pencil and any materials we are using in class.

14. It is your responsibility to check the duty roster and complete your duties on the assigned week.*

15. If BRP is given you CANNOT take your handbag or backpack with you.

16. You should wear closed toe shoes like tennis shoes to class on lab days since outside labs are scheduled.
