lThe Red Hawk Sign Club is a new addition to Creek Wood High School.  Through learning and improving our sign language skills, we hope to increase awareness about deafness.  Our sign language instructor is Sheila Parker.  Mrs. Parker is our county’s Deaf Education specialist.  She has taught in both public schools as well as schools for the deaf.  Our sponsor here at Creek Wood is Carol Creasor.  Mrs. Creasor is currently assigned at CWHS as an interpreter. Our second sponsor is Belinda Southerland. Mrs. Southerland has 26 years teaching experience and is the mother of a 21 year old deaf son.
