Here at Charlotte Elementary students participate in the Accelerated Reader program to promote and encourage a love for reading. Accelerated Reader is a computer-based program that allows students to check out designated Accelerated Reader books, read them, then test over what they have read. This aids in the development of student vocabulary and comprehension and also encourages the use of their imagination.
