Hello! My name is Kristie King and I am the counselor for the Freshman Academy. This is my first year as a counselor at Creek Wood High School. I have spent the past 12 years working in the counseling field. I am a 1994 graduate of Huntingdon High School in Huntingdon, TN. I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree. I went on to graduate in 1999 from the University of Louisville with my Masters Degree. I completed my School Counseling Certification from UT Martin in 2008. I moved with my husband and son to Dickson in July of 2009. My husband, Frankie, is a biology teacher and football coach at East Hickman High School and my five year old son, Hayden, is in kindergarten at Oakmont Elementary.
