Dickson County serves more than 8,000 students in grades k-12 at 15 sites including 8 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 2 high schools, 1 alternative school,and 1 adult high school. The mission of our school system is to provide an enriched environment in which all children can learn and succeed. We want to provide all children with an education that will successfully prepare them to enter college or the work force and to set the stage for a life full of learning, earning, and happiness. With more that 900 employees the Dickson County School System is the largest employer in Dickson County.
