Dickson Middle School Band

             There are a lot of other bands, but the band at Dickson Middle School is the best. We work really hard to keep it that way. First, we play at pep rallies, football games, and also basketball games. Second, we are instructed by Mr. Joyce. Third, most of us have fun.

             Prep rallies are really fun to play at because they have the most people most of the time. Sometimes the football games have more. They are both really fun to play at.  We haven’t played at a basketball game yet, so we don’t know how that will be, but I’m sure it will be lots of fun.

             Mr. Joyce is funny at times. He has his days, but, I mean, who doesn’t? He is a good instructor but I’m pretty sure there are better out there. He hates it when you don’t practice or when you don’t play at the speed he gives you. But  over all he is a good teacher.

             Most of the band loves to play at pep rallies and football games. The best part is when you get to stay after school.  We joke around before class starts. I think our favorite song to play is “Party like a Rock Star.” I think we are the best at “Go Fight Win.” 

      Those are some of the things about the Dickson Middle School Band. We like to play at pep rallies, football games, and basketball games. Our instructor Mr. Joyce is awesome. We mostly all have fun!
