CROSS COUNTRY By Holly Thompson October 2, 2008 A.D. Have you ever thought of joining the cross country team? It is really fun, and we usually run three to five miles a day. Traveling with the team is also fun. The other good thing is no one gets left out. Every one gets to run. I think cross-country is one of the best sports. Last year we went to Knoxville for the state meet. We went up there that night. That was one of the neatest meets we have done. We also do many different meets. It is fun to go run different courses. One of my favorite races is the Jesse Owens in Alabama. |
