            The NASA  page for elementary educators.  Educational Features and links from this page open up interactive activities designed to teach multi-curricular skills and content using scientific method and involving students in problem-solving.  Links from this page go to pages for Grade 5-8; 9-12; and national teaching standards (Link:  Learning Resources) for science, technology, math, and educational technology, and geography.  These NASA pages also have educational multimedia shows.  To retrieve other grade level pages, go to

            Different stories and activities, appropriate for these grades and interest levels.  “Real Survivors” feature and “ Astronaut School ” multimedia show teach about character and physical training.  Also features the NASA Connect which aired last Thursday across the country, an Emmy-winning program which integrates math, science, and technology for grades 6-8.

            The home site (www.ceismc.gatech.edu/kc/homepg.html) has a K*I*D*S  Club – (Kids Interested in Discovering Science) with a $50 membership fee, but this page has free online games and activities.  “Your Future! A Game Show” tests knowledge about money, jobs and education.  “Cliff Hanger” is a game using virtual cars to teach about friction and acceleration.  Another game is called The Molecule Maker Game.

            Site is set up like a virtual museum, with pages such as Science of Music, Transit of Venus, Sport Science, Microscope Imaging Station.  Interactive, informative and cross-curricular activities; some reading, but video clips of experts talking are offered with the large-size type.
