MPetersMarcus Peters, a graduate of Dickson County High School, received his Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Middle Tennessee State University. He continued his education and received a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University.

 Mr. Peters was hired by the Dickson County Board of Education as a special education teacher at Dickson Middle School in 1997. He has worked with students in Dickson County at several different schools. Mr. Peters has had opportunities to teach at Dickson Middle, Oakmont Elementary, Charlotte Elementary, and Creek Wood High School. He has also served as a bus driver and head coach for the Dickson Middle School soccer program.

 Marcus is married to Kelly who also teaches in Dickson County. They have four children, Kirsten, Tori, Grace, and Nicholas, and one grandchild, Kynnleigh. “ I am very excited to get to work for the Red Hawk Nation as we Ignite, Create and Achive #wearecreekwood.”. Marcus and Kelly reside in Vanleer.
