MMeadowsMisty Meadows is a lifelong resident of Charlotte, Tennessee.  She attended Charlotte Elementary, Charlotte Jr. High, and is a 1996 graduate of Dickson County High School.  Upon graduation from DCHS, she attended Austin Peay State University earning her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  She continued her education at Tennessee State University where she received her Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision.  Misty also took classes from Cumberland University to acquire her MA +30.

Misty began her career in education in August of 2000 when she was hired by the Dickson County Board of Education.  She returned to the school that she once attended, Charlotte Jr. High, now Charlotte Middle.  During her 15 years at CMS, Misty taught 6th grade reading/language, was the cheer coach, drama sponsor, LEAPs co-site director, and enjoyed being a supporter of many school activities.

Misty is excited to begin a new chapter at CWHS.  She commented, “I believe that I have the ability to shape students’ lives using leadership and good character as a model. I take pride in the Creek Wood community and have a passion for knowledge that I would like to pass along to the students.  It is my goal to IGNITE a love of learning, CREATE opportunities by thinking outside the box, and equip all students’ with the ability to ACHIEVE their dreams.”
