Dickson County Schools has implemented a new emergency notification plan to alert parents of emergency situations in their child's/children's school. Brief text/email messages will be sent notifying parents with information and/or instructions if needed. These will only be sent for serious emergency situations. Notifications will NOT be sent for weather-related or non-violent closings such as building maintenance issues, sickness, etc. In order to receive an emergency text/email notification regarding an emergency situation at your child’s school, please complete follow the following steps: Send an email or a text from the cell phone that you wish to receive the notification to the following address(es). You should receive a reply back from the Dickson County Board of Education which means you have been added successfully . If you have children in more than one school, please make sure and send an email/text to each school's email address. All charges for the message will be your responsibility. NOTE: This will be a year by year process due to students progressing to different schools. Every year you will have to re-register to receive the notifications. The old submissions will be purged June 30th, so on July 1st you can re-register for the new school year.
