1. Screening

·      Carefully screen your child’s head for lice once a week.

 

2. Detection

·      If you find lice, begin treatment

           immediately and contact the school nurse.

 

3. Removal

·       After treatment, make sure you have picked all the nits off your child’s hair.

 

4. Prevention

·       Teach your child to avoid sharing brushes, combs, hats,

         helmets, etc. with other children. Screen Weekly!
