In guidance class, your child is being exposed to the Character Counts program. Character Counts attempts to develop strong character in children. The program exposes children to the six pillars of good character: trustworthiness, responsibility, caring, respect, citizenship, and fairness. Most people would agree that society needs to do a better job developing good character in its children and we hope that you will help. The six pillars of character are briefly explained. Please take time to discuss good character with your child.
