Welcome to year thirteen at The Discovery School! The Discovery School is home to 244 of the best students in Dickson County and our success lies in our size and our “family friendly” atmosphere. Parent involvement is a key component to the success our students experience during their elementary school years. In May 2011, TDS was recognized by the Education Consumers Foundation as a Highly Effective School. This award was based on three years of value-added achievement gains made as the result of efforts of our teachers, staff, students, and parents. Our staff of 29 full and part-time employees strives to individualize the learning of each of our students. We spend each day thinking and discovering, with the hope that it leads to success for all!!
