Tennessee History for Kids. This site is slowly growing. There are
very few sites and books available to help students in learning about
Tennessee history. Tennessee history is no longer taught as a stand alone
course in
7th grade as it was for many years. Tennessee history is now taught
throughout students' years in schools at all grade levels.

Sheppard Software's site is a site that all of the 5th grade students
at SBES have been visiting during computer lab time in order to reinforce
the knowledge of the 50 states. 4th graders have also gone to the site but
mainly for the map skills involved more so than memorizing the states.
