WJMS welcomes our new guidance counselor, Ms. Allison Cabell.  Ms. Cabell is available daily to consult with students, parents, and faculty member.  We are very glad to have her!

         Students or parents may request individual counseling at any time.  When the need arises, support groups are formed.

            During the spring 8^th grade students will be individually helped with class decisions for beginning their high school years.  Parents and students will be scheduled a time with a counselor to determine a path of studies in high school. 

            A hot line for teens is available for those teens that feel the need to talk to someone else other than the guidance counselor. It is 1-800-274-5637 for the Crisis Center.  You may call (615)-327-4455 for the Oasis Shelter.
